糖心传媒鈥檚 will offer a free seminar on Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cole Auditorium. Author and business owner Diane Wolfe will present information about effective websites and blogging for small businesses.

The free seminar called 鈥淲ebsites and Blogs Made Easy for Small Businesses鈥� is designed for those preparing to establish a website or those wanting to improve an existing website. Small business owners or other entrepreneurs will learn how to expand, improve and add depth to their website. Wolfe walks attendees through web hosting, layout, metadata and blog platforms during this three-hour seminar.

鈥淪etting up a website can be daunting,鈥� Wolfe said. 鈥淥nce you understand the process, you can create a dynamic site that attracts customers and keeps them coming back.鈥�

Attendees will learn about templates and composing enticing web copy. They will learn how to use search engines and CDO to their advantage and be able to connect with potential customers through blogging and other social networks. Armed with a list of beneficial websites and books to assist them, participants will leave this seminar with a clearer picture of designing and running a successful website for their small business.
