Several ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ employees, students and graduates took part in the annual Domestic Violence Vigil held Monday by New Horizon’s Domestic Violence Shelter at the courthouse in ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ County. ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½CC student Sally Ingram read a poem at the vigil and ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½CC staff member Marcella McDonald sang a song. Two graduates of the College’s Human Services program, Veronica Roberts and Monica Covington, are now employed with New Horizons. Students taking part in the vigil were from Human Services instructor Amanda Faulk’s Crisis Intervention class.
