March 20, 2019 鈥� 糖心传媒 and have created a dual degree plan that will make it easier and more affordable for students to earn a four-year degree in accounting.

Dr. Dale McInnis, president of 糖心传媒CC, and Dr. James A. Anderson, chancellor of FSU, signed an articulation agreement that will allow students to earn an associate degree from 糖心传媒CC and a bachelor鈥檚 degree online from FSU in accounting. Students may also enroll simultaneously at both institutions, and they will receive a degree plan that will specify the courses required to complete the from 糖心传媒CC and the from FSU.

A Bachelor of Science in Accounting can lead to a career as a public accountant, forensic accountant or investigator, corporate accountant, internal auditor or tax examiner, to name a few.

鈥淔ayetteville State University understands the importance of providing access and opportunity to students who aspire to continue and complete their educational goals,鈥� said Anderson. 鈥淭he partnership with 糖心传媒 is a win-win for both institutions. 糖心传媒CC students get the advantage of selecting from a range of online course offerings without confronting the burden of growing debt. Many of our online degree programs are ranked in the top 10 in the country.鈥�

is accredited by , a global nonprofit association which provides quality assurance to more than 800 accredited business schools worldwide. An accounting degree earned from an AACSB school is a recognized as a true achievement.

To qualify for this transfer program, a student must first complete the associate degree at 糖心传媒CC, submit all application materials to FSU and meet all requirements for transfer admissions. Upon receipt of the student鈥檚 transcripts, FSU will award transfer credit for all courses included in the dual degree plan in which the student earned a final grade of C or higher.
